Upstate New York Transplant Services offers internship and volunteer opportunites for a wide variety of interests that can be both fun and rewarding. To date, our volunteers have helped with events, coordinated organ, eye and tissue donation and awarenes campaigns and sponsored blood drives.
In addition, unique partnerships exist between our volunteers and many area institutions of learning - including elementary and high school schools, and colleges and universities. For example, the Talk It Up program allows Upstate New York Transplant Services' volunteers to visit area grammar schools in spreading the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation.
