Blood Centers from Across the Country Gather in Buffalo
Unyts blood bank has successfully reached its 5 year mark this summer. The Americas Blood Centers (ABC), based in Washington DC and representing over 60 independent blood centers in the US and Canada, decided to hold its 50th Interim meeting of senior executives and medical directors in Buffalo.
Over 140 blood bank CEOs, medical experts and other senior officials from ABC blood banks will be in attendance throughout the weekend.
The meetings and seminars inform the members about current issues and developments in health care and in blood transfusion medicine.
What: America’s Blood Centers 50th Interim Meeting & Medical Workshop
When: Saturday, August 4th, 9:00. Medical Directors Workshop will address topics relating to hospitals and Community blood centers.
Monday, August 6th, 8:15-9:30. John Bartimole, President of WNY Healthcare Association, will talk about the Affordable Care Act U.S. Supreme Court ruling
Where: Hyatt Regency Buffalo
