We are so fortunate to have an incredible group of dedicated volunteers here at Unyts and we want you to get to know them! Meet Naomi!

Naomi began volunteering with Unyts during the summer of 2016. She received a double lung transplant on January 4, 2013 and enjoys sharing that personal story while out on volunteer assignments.

"Sharing personal stories about organ donation makes people understand how important it is to register. I'm alive today because my donor made a selfless decision to register as an organ donor."

One of Naomi's most memorable volunteer experiences so far was assisting with the Welcome Home Troops events where she was able to meet enthusiastic service men and women and share her story with them.

If you're having doubts about volunteering with Unyts, Naomi says that you shouldn't.

"The most rewarding aspect of volunteering is be able to hear people's personal stories and their connection to organ donation as well as share my own story. Volunteering involves a lot of listening and sharing."
