College Partnerships
Upstate New York Transplant Services (UNYTS) is committed to working collaboratively with Western New York’s colleges and universities. The specific nature of these partnerships can vary based on the needs and interests of each individual school. While the nature of our partnerships may be different from school to school, one thing is certain; Upstate New York Transplant Services will do all it can to educate the students on the issues that are at the heart of our organization’s mission: organ, tissue and blood donation. (Looking for more information on how to partner with UNYTS please click here.)
Click on the below links to see how many local colleges and universities have partnered with Upstate New York Transplant Services to help spread awareness and act on the critical need for organ, tissue and blood donation.

During the fall semester of 2007, students in Dr. Diane McFarland’s BUS 320 class (Principles of Marketing) and BUS 327 class (Advertising Concepts and Practices) prepared advertising or marketing plans to help Upstate New York Transplant Services successfully market their new Community Blood Service division to the Buffalo State College community. These student-generated plans provided Upstate New York Transplant Services with several important pieces of information, including a market-specific advertising pyramid tool, brand image suggestions, target market identification assistance, product placement strategies and more.
