Upstate New York Transplant Services is among the leading procurement organizations in the United States. We are a fast paced, growing non-profit company currently recruiting for the following positions:

Component Technician- H.S. Required. 2 year degree, MLT preferred. Will handle component preparation, component modification & blood product distribution.

Screener/Phlebotomist- Full and Part Time positions available. LPN, MA, EMT or phlebotomy certificate w/ prior experience in nursing or MD office. Knowledge of medications and medical conditions pref. Valid NYS drivers license required.

Donor Screening Specialist- Full and Part Time positions available. Associates degree or MOA preferred. Exp. in clinical setting to evaluate referrals for suitability for organ and tissue donations. 2nd, 3rd shift and weekends available.

Blood Services Dispatcher- Part Time positions available. Answer calls or electronic orders from client hospitals. Fills all orders, maintains & manages blood product inventories. HS degree with 2 years of work experience. Computer experience required. Must have valid NYS drivers license.

Eye & Tissue Donation Specialist- Responsible for donor evaluation, aseptic surgical tissue procurement, packaging, processing & distribution related to eye & tissue services. On call hours required. Bachelors degree in a healthcare or Life Science area preferred. Associates Degree or higher in Life Sciences; or five years experience as a surgical technician; or four years experience in military medical services with formal medical training required. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
