The 2012-2013 Donate Life Club end of the year celebration at Coca-Cola Field was a huge success!

Students from 60 high schools across Western New York arrived wearing donate life shirts, hats and stickers to celebrate their hard work raising awareness for organ, eye, tissue and blood donation with in their school. During the game, Niagara Falls High School Donate Life Club Advisor Barb Rodgers, threw out first pitch. Our second pitch was thrown out by Alden Middle School Student, Lucas Jurek.

East Aurora High School was given a shout out as they all held up their poster they designed for the National Donate Life Poster Contest!

Two students were honored as they received the Ali’s Rally Book Scholarship- Jacob Everhart from Iroquois Central High School and Laura Brown from Cheektowaga Central.

Donate Life Club Students, Parents, Advisors, Families and Friends enjoyed this wonderful event! We are so proud of our Donate Life Clubs!

Donate Life Club Celebration!

Monday, May 21st, 2012

What an amazing day at Coca- Cola Field! Around 600 Donate Life Club members and and their families came out  to celebrate the end of the school year and catch a Buffalo Bisons game. A tent party, DJ, food and prizes-what fun! And the perfect weather certainly helped too.

We announced the winners of the Donate Life Club contests. Alden High School won for the best t-shirt design and Buffalo Visual and Performing Arts High School won for the best commercial.

The Ali’s Rally Scholarship awards went to a student from Lockport High School and from Cheektowaga Central High School. Congrats to all the winners!
