Organ Donation Online Registration Bill Signed Into Law

Law Will Result in Drastically Increased Donor Registry Enrollments to Save Lives Governor Paterson today singed into law an electronic signature bill that will dramatically improve the organ donation process in New York.  The law will allow New Yorkers to register online to become organ donors. The bill passed the Assembly unanimously on April 27 and the Senate on May 12. The Electronic Signature Act eliminates the need to download enrollment forms and mail them in. A Celebration of Life at Hispanic Health Fair; Honors Local Donor

BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) - A celebration of health and life took place Saturday in downtown Buffalo. Various tests and screenings were available free of charge for diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and other health issues. There were also bounce houses, music, entertainment, and raffles.
